About the Founder
Allen Guillory
Founder Allen Guillory brings over four decades of experience managing complex projects, leading and mentoring construction teams, and guiding organizations through growth, change, and operational improvement. His career includes roles as Vice-President of Construction, Operations Manager, Regional Manager, and Senior Project Manager overseeing project portfolios, teams, budgets, contracts and schedules in Nashville, Tennessee, Huntsville, Alabama and numerous cities across the Southeast.
Driven by a deep passion for construction management and guided by steadfast core values, Allen has built a career defined by excellence, accountability, and owner-focused leadership. His track record—over $2.5 billion in completed projects—demonstrates his ability to consistently deliver on time, under budget, and beyond expectations.
Known for steady leadership on complex and fast-moving projects, Allen brings clarity, structure, and calm to challenging situations. He communicates openly and knowledgeably with owners, stakeholders, and project teams, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle. His approach is built on transparency, disciplined project controls, and a strong grasp of how early decisions influence cost, schedule, and long-term results.
Following a long career in senior construction leadership, Allen founded ALG to provide owners with the unbiased expertise and disciplined oversight often missing during preconstruction and early project development. He also partners with general contractors to improve operations, resolve project challenges, recover struggling jobs, and elevate team capabilities through targeted training.
ALG was founded with a primary goal: to build a construction management firm committed to exceptionalism and integrity, deeper investment in the Middle Tennessee and North Alabama communities, and the mentorship of the next generation of construction leaders.
“The most important decisions happen before construction begins. Our job is to ensure they’re made with clarity, experience, and confidence.”
